Domaine Perraud

Family

4th generation winemaker Jean-Christophe Perraud took over from his father Jean-Maurice in 2005.

Before him, Jean-Maurice was selling the grapes to the local cooperative, but Jean-Christophe decided to start bottling the wines under the family name in 2008.

He gradually grew his reputation over the years and today, he bottles 100% of his production under his name.

Organic viticulture

We started the first trials in 2016 and embarked on our official Organic conversion in 2021.
Our wines are fully certified Organic since vintage 2024.

Outside Copper and Sulphur, we use homeopathy in our vineyards made of Horsetails and Nettles.
We also make our own compost made of horse and cow manure and grape ‘marc’. This greatly boost natural defences of the vines and help them fight diseases like Mildew.

Sustainability

In 2024, we covered our winery roof with solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint. Today, we produce 40% of our yearly electricity needs.

We switched to lighter bottles to reduce the impact of shipping our wines overseas and all our dry goods use recycled materials as much as possible.
