VINEYARD

Bordering the Beaujolais, the south of Burgundy is widely planted with Gamay. While it may be seen as a lesser grape, Gamay can make outstanding wines. Planted on a mixture of marl and limestone, ours makes fresh and vibrant wines and adapts particularly well to the ever changing climate conditions.

WINEMAKING

No carbonic fermentation, the grapes were fully destemmed and went through cold maceration for 2 weeks. The wine spent 6 months in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, no oak was used to preserve the fruity character and freshness of the wine.

 TASTING NOTES

Fresh red fruits aromas of strawberry and redcurrant. The palate is fresh and vibrant thanks to supple tannins and refreshing acidity.
