VINEYARDThis cuvée of Pinot Noir comes from selected plots providing grapes with depth and concentration which will be well suited to oak ageing. The soils are rich in clay, perfect for red wines compared to our limestone terroirs further south which are better for whites. Vineyards are 25 years-old on average and farmed organically
WINEMAKINGOnce at the winery, the Pinot Noir grapes are sorted and fully destemmed. They go through cold maceration for 2 weeks with daily pump-overs. The wine is aged in 600L oak barrels for 12 months, half of which are new.
TASTING NOTESA classic Burgundian Pinot Noir with fresh blackcurrant and cherry aromas. The oak is present but subtle, tannins are fine and well-integrated. Good length and a fresh finish.
